BIOGRAPHY
グラスゴーを拠点としている男女5人組、ハッシーズ。元スーパーナチュラルズのジェームスが始めた、ギター・ポップ・バンド。エルヴィス・コステロ&ザ・アトラクションズ等に、影響を受けている。2005年に1st・シングル『タイガー』、2006年に2nd・シングル『ナポレオン』を自主リリース。2007年に3rd・シングル『ウィ・エクスペクテッド』と、4th・シングル『ネックレス』をウィークエンダーから発表。同じく2007年にクインスから、ミニ・アルバム『ウィ・エクスペクテッド』をリリース。そのほとんどがソールド・アウトになるほど、インディー・ファンの支持を得る。その後メンバーが入れ替わって、新たなスタートを切ることに…。ケヴィン・バーレイ（ハッシーズをきっかけにグラスヴェガスも手がけている）をプロデューサーに迎え、アルバムの録音を開始。そしてジャンルの幅を広げた演奏と、メッセージ性の強い歌詞に成長。2008年には1st・フル・アルバム、『スーパー・プロ』を自主リリース。同じく2008年にクインスから、『スーパー・プロ・プラス』を発表。さらにはオーストラリアのレーベルとも、契約を果たす。
The Hussy's is a male/female 5 piece, a fine gutarpop band started by ex-Supernaturals James McColl who is influenced by Elvis Costello & The Attractions. They have released 1st EP "Tiger" in 2005 and 2nd EP "Napoleon" in 2006 on their own label, 3rd EP "We Expected" and 4th EP "Necklace" in 2007 on Weekender Records and mini-album "We Expected" on Quince Records in same year. A lot of indie music fans have supported the band so that all the EPs are sold out. Afterwards, two members leaves the band, new members joins, starts newly and The Hussy's started the recording for the 1st full length album with producer Kevin Burleigh who is produced well-known Glasvegas who likes The Hussy's songs. It feels their performance that expands width of genre, and sees growth to lyrics with a strong message. They have released "Super Pro" on their own label and "Super Pro +" on Quince Records in 2008. Also, an Australian label is getting in touch with the band.
