　クレアコーズはフロリダを拠点とするUSインディー・レーベル。トーンヴェンダーという名前でディストリビューションやオンライン・ショップもやっている。シューゲイザー〜インディー・ポップをメインとするバンドを独自の感性で紹介。どこかクールなアートアークも今の時代特有の空気を放っている。またエレクトロニカやインディー・ロックに繋がるポジションも革新的。特にピア・フラウスやブラザー・カイトのリリースは、インディー・シーンに多大な影響を与える。新しいシューゲイザー・ムーヴメントの草分け的な存在となっているのは間違いない。レーベルとディストリビューションとオンライン・ショップで、アメリカと海外のパイプ役になっているところが理想的。だからこそクラブAC30やシェルフライフはもちろん、様々なジャンルのレーベルとの交流も深い。本来ならばいろいろなことをやればやるだけ、どうしてもテーマが見えなくなってしまいがち。しかしクレアコードは商業ベースに乗ることを避けながら、自分達のやりたいことにこだわっているところが好感。2006年にブラザー・カイトの2nd・アルバムを通じて、本格的にクインスと提携を結ぶことに…。日本でのディストリビューションのみならず、お互いの関わりの中で様々なことにチャレンジしていきたい。

Representative shoegaze pop band The Brother Kite has released an indispensable item for fans that adds three enhanced images on six interesting songs. The contents of six songs are the catchiest song and two different versions on their masterful 2nd album, an unreleased live song from a radio session, and two solid non-album songs. Especially, 4th song is impressive and it have positive melodies, shimmering guitars, driving drum, and unique bass. Also, the live song from the radio session is the tears with a great gratification and there is an excellent vocal in expression ability. Ifwhen is ex-All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors and Merc has released 1st album with the drummer. As the 1st album was being completed, the drummer left the band, Kentaro and Mary joined the band. This 2nd album accomplishes big evolution, a real sound making that faithfully defends session from three people, no overdub, and a progressive "loveless"style played by six hands. It was mixed by Oktopus of Dalek, so the sound brings a progressive one with dub element only of N.Y., and they will make a clear distinction in bands who are called post My Bloody Valentine. "We Will Gently Destory You" brings groove that knocks against guitar, bass, and keyboard each other. It became harmoniously integral together with the psychedelic pop melodies influenced by Beatles and Beach Boys. Only this album is sure to give new undulation to the shoegaze scene. The Brother Kite is a shogaze band based in Providence, Rhode Island. This album released in 2004 is their 1st album, and one of the masterpieces in the Clairecords releases. This great album have been many topics between the listeners with a high sense at the early stage and hide still a lot of potential. The only problem is that the trend in the age had not caught up with this great album yet. However, the theme of new shoegazers comes to be called out with the course of time. It is because a more melodious band has been requested with a revolution of the layered guitar soundscapes. So, in 2006 Quince Records decided a proper distribution in Japan for this album with the DIY liner note and the sticker as the one of the joint release filled with love. Especially, this album have greatness to be feel the UK more than the current UK bands. It is clearly remind My Bloody Valentine and Ride as an influences, and also feels the 60's bands such as Beatles, Beach Boys and The Who as a base. They are expressing a deeper sensibility different from shoegaze bands that takes only the method. First of all, you will be sure to nod if you listened to The Music Box(2) as the selected listening song. A beautiful, powerful melodies and vocals that wakes up impression. The roaring guitars are very dramatic! Atmosphere that causes Stone Roses somewhere. Also, listen Death Ray(6) and feel same sense. Of course, the opening song Goodnight, Goodnight, Goodnight is a great song from which the mind whenever listening repeatedly is washed. Anyway, the composition of all the songs is excellent and it feels to see the movie.
