Carrots are Barcelona, Spain-based 4 piece band, their home label is Grabaciones en el Mar which has taken out many great bands. The 2nd album, "Sunshine" released in 2002 gains many fans also in Japan, the joyful 3rd album "...All It Takes Is A Little Confidence!" is completed in 2004. It's innovative guitar pop which smashes the wall of genres such as progressive, funk, country, and inheriting to Beatles's the middle-era. The skillful arrangement which mastered many instruments creatively, the dynamic performance puts many gigs experiences to the maximum, and the song-writing of whole Carrots is strengthened by making the tracks which 3 members shared this time. New album from Swedish band, Seashells which serves as legendary existence among listeners preeminent for a sense also in Japan. First of all, this album started from single "Lovebirds" released on Quince in 2001. The plan which released the great song taken from 1st full-length album on the 7" was sold-out at a stretch in the reaction exceeding anticipation. At last, they conquered the blank for 9 years and completed 2nd full-length album 3 years after. Each of 11songs which evolved from early Seashells sound with the influence from Phil Spector and Beach Boys are songs with brightness. The highest masterpiece on the theme of the summer beach just in character with them! Is there any artists who can direct fresher pop music than Seashells else in recent pop scene sure enough ? We can be proud that Seashells have been revived as the true meaning also in many Quince works of these days. The listening of this wonderful album should be done out to people with "guitar pop DNA" in many countries. We are glad if some labels in foreign country are interested in licensing.

See Venus is Miami based female vocals band, a lot of an orchestral arrangement featured strings and horns, a poured-in world of influences from Latin/Brazilian music. Everything fits our guitar-pop style, so the fresh air which is not in recently is brewed. Their favorite artists are Beach Boys, The Beatles, High Llamas, and Stereolab..., such elements were digested splendidly and pop music with familiarity of only See Venus is completed. They have released 1st album on March Records after they have 3 years for the recording, and 6 months later Japanese edition of "Hard Times For Dreamers" including 2 bonus-new songs which recorded in Spring 2004 is released. Probably main point of this album is female vocalist, Rocky which twinkles more sweet sadness melody. Her voice is a little different taste than past guitar-pop bands. Wonderful feelings that deep sense by singer-songwriter exceeded range of general vocalists. Actually she has wonderful skills that herself play guitar and keyboard, and doing the songwriting. With such meaning See-Venus will surely be grasping a key of next indie-scene. They may aim at highest music style, but everyday pop music is also pursued in home recording and local small studio.
