4 piece band based in Helsinki, Finland. The Tunes blends a guitar arrangement with influences of 60's pop and 70's power pop, a genuine songwriting that can be hummed for a long time even if tens of years pass and a chorus work to shine particularly. Their 1st album, "Bright Yellow Sun" is featured a 12 strings guitar like The Byrds and also piano & Hammond organ played by some guest musicians. Especially, 2nd song, "Valerie" and 7th song, "Summerday" should be recommended not only Japanese fans but the worldwide guitar pop fans. Japanese edition on Quince Records have a remade artwork, obi strap, liner note and a related design. As a presentiment glad, in case of Japan the wall of indie pop and power pop seems to be exceeded by this release.

TBWDM is a brightest-hope from Manchester. The feeling of The Rolling Stones-esque guitar pop is really impressive! Or think Supergrass with soulful and folky. Ashtray Floors added a bonus track to a self-released album on their own label, did a remake artwork, changed tracklisting and remastered. Feel Quince's clever technique.
